Not many hams think about ATV when you talk about DX. But it does exist, and here is some proof. This site will be expanded on as time and band conditions exist!

First, there is a web site where ATV DX is tracked by ATV’ers real time. Go to:
http://dxworld.com/atvlog.html to check it out. If you watch this site, you will know when to turn the ATV on. Wait a minute, it should always be on, right?

But, if you want to really know when to prepare for those tropospheric band openings, check out: http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo.html This site will give you a heads up as to when to expect that opening.

But, wait, prove it to me that you can really “see” far away with low power and Amateur Television. Here is what Bill Brown, WB8ELK, saw July 23-24, 2005 from Alabama:  http://www.wb8elk.com/atvdx.htm  I can’t get over what I see.

So, we will try to keep new information coming as it comes in to us. Let us know what you see.
